Fluor Paint Turquoise

A water-based fluorescent acrylic paint from Green Stuff World in a 17 ml dropper bottle. It is an opaque paint with a very intense, brilliant turquoise tone that reaches its maximum brightness on a white base and reacts strongly under ultraviolet (black) light.

Use

  • The richest effect comes from applying it over a white or light base.
  • The paint suits a brush and an airbrush; for spraying, thin it with an acrylic thinner at roughly 1:1.
  • Ideal for light accents, science fiction and fantasy subjects, energy effects, dioramas and decoration.
  • The dropper bottle allows precise dosing and easy mixing.

The paint is water-based and is thinned with an acrylic thinner, not with solvents for enamels or varnishes. A coat of varnish over it is recommended for durability.

FAQ

It is not a phosphorescent paint but a fluorescent one. It glows intensely under ultraviolet (black) light, not by itself in complete darkness.

Apply the paint over a white or light base. On a dark base the effect is markedly weaker.

It is water-based and is thinned with an acrylic thinner. For an airbrush a ratio of roughly 1:1 is recommended.
