An ink in the shade of red-hot steel from the INK line for effects of heat, embers and glowing edges.
Responsibility details are not available.
A warm red with an orange core, the kind metal has when it is drawn from the forge. The line of inks offers a concentrated liquid pigment that is applied in fine coats and shifts the color of what lies beneath. Thanks to that a transition can be built smoothly from dark steel all the way to the places that are meant to look red-hot.
You will get the best results by grading it. Start from the darkest place, leave it unchanged and add the ink toward the core of the heat, where the color is to be most saturated. Let each coat dry through, otherwise the edges run together and the transition loses its depth. Over a silver or brass base a metallic shine with a warm undertone appears, while over matte black the impression is deep and smoldering instead.
Modelers who work with effects of fire and heat, makers of forges and workshop scenes and painters of fantasy subjects. Try the transitions on a test piece first, so that you can judge the right number of coats. The shade will bring life even to older builds where a forge or a firebox has looked flat until now. Do not rush the drying between coats; that time comes back in the sharpness of the transition.
Store out of the reach of children, ventilate while working and protect your eyes and skin. Information on thinning and on cleaning tools is given on the packaging.
