It is a water-thinnable acrylic, that is a paint without aggressive solvents and without a penetrating smell, with a silk matte surface and good covering power. The package holds 17 ml and the bottle has a dropper, so the paint can be measured out drop by drop and mixed easily in an exact ratio. The shade matches the American Federal Standard 595, code FS 36251, and it is an opaque paint, not a tinting or clear varnish.

What the paint is used for

Aggressor Grey is one of the basic shades of the gray Mod Eagle scheme, which the US Air Force and the National Guard use on F-15 machines and, more recently, on the F-22 as well. The same tone appears in the so-called ghost scheme of the Hellenic Air Force and in some gray camouflages of aggressor F-15C and F-16C machines. Use

• spraying with an airbrush: stir the paint and thin it with water or with an acrylic thinner of the same type
• brush painting: apply several thin coats rather than one heavy one
• on plastic and resin we recommend a primer first, and on bare metal it is essential
• before decals, go over the surface with a gloss varnish compatible with acrylics
• DO NOT THIN with lacquer or enamel thinners, as the paint would curdle
