AK Interactive Fuel Stains — Fuel Stains

Fuel Stains is an enamel (solvent-based) weathering effect from AK Interactive, made for creating authentic stains from spilled fuel on both modern and classic equipment. It is not a product for oil and grease, but exclusively for fuel traces around filler necks, caps, and areas where fuel has run down. The effect can be mixed with other AK paints and thinned with mineral spirits. 35 ml package.

Use

Apply it with a brush around filler necks, caps and areas where liquid runs down
Layer it and blend it with a clean brush to create stains of varying intensity
Thinned and cleaned with mineral spirits (White Spirit), not water
Combine it with other AK effects for layered weathering

For modelers of military and civilian equipment who want realistic fuel traces. Suitable for advanced modelers and those with some weathering experience.

For creating realistic stains from spilled fuel around filler necks, caps and areas where it runs down vehicles. It is not a product for oil and grease.

It is an enamel effect, thinned and cleaned with mineral spirits (White Spirit). It can be mixed with other AK Interactive paints and effects.

Apply the effect in layers and blend it with a clean brush dampened in thinner. This creates smooth transitions from a light to a heavy stain.
