Photo-etch is most effective in a small scale where the material should be thin: on sheet metal, brackets, grilles and frames, a plastic part always gives itself away by its thickness.
The GMC CCKW 353 was a three-axle truck of two and a half tons payload, one of the most widespread means of transport of the Allies in the Second World War. It carried cargo, men and artillery and served as a chassis for the most varied bodies, so it turns up in practically every scene of the Western Front. The number 353 in the designation marks the configuration with the longer wheelbase.
