An AK Interactive acrylic modeling paint from the Real Colors range, a gray shade under the designation RAL 7027, in a 17 ml bottle.
Responsibility details are not available.
The paint is listed under the German name Grau, in English Grey, and under the number RAL 7027. It is a medium gray, that is a shade that lies neither near white nor near black and has no pronounced color cast. The chart number is practical here: it fixes the tone unambiguously, so you can look the shade up against any scheme that works with RAL numbers and repeat the same gray at any time later without having to search among similar tones.
Medium gray is one of the most usable colors in modeling. It comes into its own on the large surfaces of vehicles as well as on small equipment, on metal parts, on crates, jerrycans and tools, and equally well on scenic elements such as concrete surfaces or curbs. It has one quiet advantage as well: on a medium gray it is easy to see how strong the shading and the highlighting will be, so a procedure you then use on a whole model is easy to try out on it.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles on the bottom. Apply the paint in thin coats onto a clean, degreased surface, preferably over a primer, which evens out the absorbency of plastic, putty and accessories made of other materials. Let it dry between coats, so that the surface stays even and no blemishes appear. The thinning ratio, the spraying pressure and cleaning the tools all follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
One bottle of paint of 17 ml is supplied. A primer, a thinner, a final varnish and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
