Have Glass Grey is a gray shade carried under the code FS36170, that is according to the American Federal Standard, which describes shades numerically and makes it possible to compare them across paint manufacturers. It is a darker matte gray from the group of tones used on modern combat aircraft. The designation Have Glass itself is linked with the gray finishes of F-16 fighters.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use; the pigment settles at the bottom when the paint stands and unmixed paint covers unevenly. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging and use a thinner intended for this range. Spray in several thin coats and let the surface become tacky between them: a single heavy coat clogs the fine texture of the panel lines and takes considerably longer to dry. A continuous gray area has nowhere to hide unevenness of the surface, so sand and degrease the surface of the model before painting.
The paint will be appreciated by modelers of modern jets who are not satisfied with guessing a gray by eye and want to set it against a numerical standard. It will also serve well as a darker tone when shading lighter gray schemes and when playing out large single-color areas.
