IJNAF J3 SP Olive Gray (Nakajima version)

IJNAF J3 SP Olive Gray (Nakajima version) — a Mr.Paint lacquer airbrush shade

A Mr.Paint lacquer modeling paint in a bottle with a capacity of 30 ml, pre-thinned for spraying with an airbrush. The shade belongs to the range of colors of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service (IJNAF) and represents the olive gray in the Nakajima production variant. The individual Japanese manufacturers differed slightly in their shades, which is why Mr.Paint offers versions by particular factory.

Use

• It is sprayed with an airbrush straight from the bottle, or thinned with lacquer thinner, never with water.
• Suitable for the surfaces of Japanese naval aircraft of Nakajima production in the common scales.
• It dries quickly to a thin, smooth film with a fine satin finish.
• It holds on plastic, resin and photo-etch, best over a base primer.

Who it is for

For modelers of Japanese naval aircraft of the Second World War who distinguish production shades by factory. It assumes experience with an airbrush and with lacquer paints.

A solvent-based lacquer paint is flammable and is thinned only with lacquer thinner, never with water. Spray in a well-ventilated area with a respirator.
