Responsibility details are not available.
A digital catalog of the Polish maker Aber on a CD. It is neither a model nor a detail set but a reference overview of the range, in which a modeler looks up a particular item by type of subject, scale and the manufacturer's part number. Aber is an established maker of photo-etched detail sets, turned metal barrels and modeling blanks, and its range runs to hundreds of items across military vehicles, aircraft and ships alike – which is exactly why a complete catalog is useful.
Accessories are chosen differently from kits. With a photo-etched set or a turned barrel what decides is the combination of subject, scale and the manufacturer's part number, and for one subject there are often several partial sets that complement one another – especially with armored vehicles, where fenders, mesh, hatches and a barrel all sit side by side. A complete overview on one disc shortens such a search and helps to avoid buying the same thing twice. A catalog on CD can also be used without an internet connection, which anyone who plans purchases at the modeling bench will appreciate.
For modelers who buy photo-etched sets and metal barrels regularly and want an overview of what exists for the model they have under way. Dealers and collectors drawing up long-term shopping lists will value it too. Working with the contents calls for a computer with an optical drive.
This is a catalog disc, not a kit or a detail set. It holds no modeling parts.
