AK Interactive Kerosene Leaks and Stains, kerosene leaks and stains (35 ml)

An enamel (solvent-based) weathering product from AK Interactive, intended for creating realistic stains and runs of aviation kerosene on modern and classic aircraft alike. It is not an opaque paint and not a kit, but a ready-made liquid effect in a 35 ml bottle. It is used above all around filler necks, engines, the joints of the fuel system and the places where fuel leaks in service and dries into characteristic glossy dark smears.

Use

• Apply it with a brush around filler necks, engine cowlings and the joints of the fuel system.
• Draw the runs out with a stroke of the brush in the direction of the airflow, and adjust the strength by thinning with mineral spirits.
• Combine it with other AK enamel effects for layering leaks, soot and grease.
• Apply it to dry paint protected by a layer compatible with enamel.

For aircraft modelers who want to capture the operational dirt of a machine faithfully and to distinguish fuel leaks from oil, soot and dust.

The product contains an organic solvent, so it is flammable; work in a well-ventilated area and out of the reach of children. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
