A water-based acrylic paint from the 3rd Generation Acrylic line. The designation AFV in the name means that the shade belongs to the part of the range meant for armored and wheeled equipment, and the abbreviation LAF is used in modeling practice for the Lebanese armed forces. The paint is thinned with water, so the work with aggressive solvents falls away and the tools are cleaned simply.
Shake the bottle properly before opening, so that the pigment settled at the bottom is stirred back in. With a brush it is applied almost unthinned, but always rather in two thin coats than in one thick one, otherwise the paint floods the engraving of the details. Into an airbrush, thin it with water or an acrylic thinner and spray in short passes. For a more durable surface, apply primer first. The green surfaces of equipment are then brought to life well with a dark wash in the recesses and a dry brush on the edges.
Modelers who build modern and postwar military equipment and want to work with acrylics without the smell of solvents. The line is built so that the shades can be mixed with one another, so it also suits modulation techniques of painting.
