LBX are the small battle robots of the Japanese series Little Battlers eXperience. Harlequin is one of the machines in this line. The series rests on the idea that everyone modifies his robot in his own way, and the kit can be approached the same way: build the base according to the instructions and only then decide whether to stop there or to take the machine further with your own work.
This is a plastic robot kit. The number of parts, the height of the finished model, how far the parts are pre-colored and any accessories are given in the manufacturer's instructions. The line is released without a scale, so do not derive the size from the name.
Separate the parts with sprue cutters a little away from the part, level the stub with a sharp blade and sand it lightly. If you want to modify the machine, start with small things that are not irreversible: repainting one assembly, bringing out the surface detail with thinned dark paint or swapping a weapon from another set. Only then reach for cutting into the parts. Keep the spare parts, because on robot kits they come in useful for later modifications more than anywhere else.
It suits fans of the series as well as modelers who enjoy modifying and combining builds. The smaller format is an advantage for experimenting: when a modification fails, you lose one part rather than a whole evening spent on a large build. Paints, glue and a display case are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise; the exact contents of the package are not stated here.
