Responsibility details are not available.
The paint carries the designation LP-20 and the name Light Gun Metal, that is, a light shade of gun steel. Metallic shades come into their own on a model wherever bare metal should show: gun barrels, exhausts, worn spots on edges, walking surfaces or parts of the landing gear. The shade does not depend on scale, so one bottle will serve on an aircraft model, a vehicle and a figure alike.
Choose a thinner intended for this range and set the thinning ratio according to the instructions stated by the manufacturer on the packaging. Metallic shades contain fine particles that settle faster than ordinary pigment, so stir the contents of the bottle thoroughly before work and during it. Apply thin coats, as a heavy coat of metallic paint forms blotches and the particles clump together in it.
A metallic shade will highlight every unevenness of the surface, so smooth and degrease the area beforehand; a smooth and even base matters more with these paints than with matte shades. Smaller areas can be brushed on, while large areas spray more evenly. Suggest worn spots only sparingly, as a continuous metal surface looks unnatural on a model.
Thinner, brushes and the model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
