LifeColor LPW23 Brake Dust

A liquid weathering product from the Liquid Pigments range by the Italian maker LifeColor. It is not a covering paint but a water-thinnable acrylic product for dirtying and aging models. The Brake Dust shade represents the characteristic rust-brown deposit of brake dust that settles on discs, rims, wheel hubs and around the brakes. The bottle holds 22 ml and is ready for use.

Use

• Apply with a brush, a sponge or an airbrush on a dry matte base.
• It is advisable to moisten the surface with water before application; the pigment then spreads more evenly.
• The effect stays workable for a long time, can be blended and, if you go wrong, taken off with the LifeColor remover.
• It dries matte, and repeated layering builds a more saturated dusty patina.
