A paint set put together around a single subject: models of the American M4A3E8 Sherman medium tank nicknamed the Easy Eight.
Responsibility details are not available.
The M4A3E8 is a late configuration of the American Sherman medium tank. You can tell it from the earlier machines by its HVSS suspension with paired road wheels and the wide tracks that helped the tank in mud and snow, and by the 76 mm gun in a roomier turret. The nickname Easy Eight comes from the letter and number designation E8. The machine reached the fighting in the very last stage of the Second World War and appeared again in Korea, so two completely different periods and ways of weathering meet on its models.
This is a paint set put together around this one subject. You get the shades together and do not have to assemble them bottle by bottle from tables. The number of bottles, their volume and the names and numbers of the shades are given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
Shake the paint thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles. Apply thin coats and let them go tacky; one thick coat floods the rivets and the welds. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the instructions from the manufacturer. Break a uniform coat up: set the panels and plates apart slightly in shade, lighten the edges, dust the underside and leave traces of service where the crew walked on the tank. Go over the surface with a gloss varnish before applying decals and even it out with a matte one when finished.
For modelers who build late Shermans and want the paints for the subject settled in one purchase. Models, thinner, brushes and an airbrush are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
