Medium template – Airbrush Stencils for spraying stains

77propeller medium airbrush stencil

A flexible plastic masking stencil in a medium format with irregular openings cut into it. It serves for spraying realistic stains, wear, grime and preshading with an airbrush. It is not a self-adhesive kabuki mask for a canopy but a reusable stencil that you lay against the surface and spray paint through. The medium size suits larger areas of models above all, and the manufacturer recommends it for models in 1:48 and 1:32 scale.

Use

• Lay the stencil on the surface of the model or the part
• Spray paint with an airbrush through the cut openings
• The flexible plastic allows work on curved and less accessible places too
• Layering and shifting the stencil gives irregular, natural effects and smooth preshading

The smooth surface does not damage the finish and the stencil is reusable.

Who it is for

For modelers who want to create stains, preshading and weathering effects with an airbrush on larger areas quickly and repeatably.

This is a modeling aid, not a paint. Paints and an airbrush are not included in the package.
