The package holds four aluminum plates, a pair 5 mm wide and a pair 10 mm wide, in a green color finish. It is a tool that does not sand by itself; its working properties come only from the abrasive you fasten onto it.
The life of a thin sanding board is practically unlimited, as only the paper wears out. That is exactly why a little order pays off. Change the paper as soon as it stops cutting; an overworked sheet does not sand, it only polishes and heats the plastic. Take the remains of adhesive off the backing before you stick a new sheet on, otherwise a bump forms under the paper which prints itself into the part. After work, wipe the plate so that abrasive slurry does not dry on it, and store it so that it does not bend, because a warped plate no longer holds a plane. And since the set comes in color variants, it is handy to use the color as a key to which grit you have on which plate.
The set is aimed at modelers who sand through graded grits and want a tool ready for each one separately, and at those who work on small parts and in places that are harder to reach.
Do not breathe the abrasive dust and ventilate the bench. Keep small parts out of the reach of children.
