A small vise intended exactly for modeling work, that is for parts that are hard to hold in the hand and would be crushed in an ordinary vise. The jaws are thirty millimeters wide and carry four nylon inserts, which do not mar the surface of the part. The inserts can be reset into twelve different positions, so the vise grips not only flat parts but also rounded, convex or curved shapes. The whole body measures about one hundred and thirty-five millimeters and at a weight of just under one hundred and fifty grams it stays compact.
For modelers of all kinds who need both hands free during precise work, for work with photo-etched parts, wires and small metal components and for fine hobby work outside modeling. The size of the jaws is chosen so that it manages typical modeling parts and still does not take up half the bench.
Tighten the part only as far as it takes for it not to move. Thin-walled plastic parts can be deformed by a strong grip even through the soft inserts. Keep the tool out of the reach of children.
