Building and painting tips

Work in sub-assemblies: the interior, the chassis and the body separately, and join them only once they are painted. Separate the parts with sprue cutters a little way from the part itself and sand the remainder off. Wash the body before painting, degrease it and apply a primer; for a gloss finish, let the paint cure properly and only then polish it. Glue the glazing absolutely last, and with a glue that neither attacks the plastic nor fogs the clear parts. Always dry-fit an assembly before gluing it.
