About product

Modular Paint Rack - STRAIGHT CORNER (Green Stuff World)

A modular paint rack from the Green Stuff World building system. The STRAIGHT CORNER designation describes the role of the piece in the system: it is not a complete solution on its own but joins onto neighboring modules and turns a row of bottles into the corner of a bench. The corner is exactly the place that is used worst at a modeling workstation. Either an old box sits there, or things pile up that nobody can reach. A corner module brings that area back into play.

Field of use

  • A bench against a wall or in a nook, where a straight rack ends and the rest of the area stays unused.
  • Expanding a collection of shades gradually, where you buy another module instead of new furniture.
  • Separating the palette in progress from the rest of the stock, so that only what you are painting now stays within reach.
  • A shared bench, where the arrangement has to change according to who is sitting at it.

How to approach the arrangement

It is better to start from the footprint, not from the number of bottles. First trace the area you want the rack to occupy, and only then assemble the modules. The corner piece works best placed so that the bend points away from you, because a corner is harder to reach into and belongs to the shades you use less often. Then do not line the paints up by manufacturer but by tone. The eye finds a shade faster than a name on a label.

Who it is for

For modelers and gamers whose collection of paints has outgrown their current solution and who want a system that can be expanded piece by piece. If you are only starting out, it makes sense to buy a straight module first and add the corner piece once it is clear which way the arrangement will run.

It is an organizing item for the bench. The full contents of the package are stated on the box.

Yes, that is exactly what the system is made for. The corner piece is one of the versions; the range also offers others for straight runs.
