Bf 109 G-6/AS sticker in white and a stated size of 15 cm from the maker Omask. The white variant is meant for dark surfaces.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sticker with the motif of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in the G-6/AS version, this time in white. The maker Omask states a size of 15 cm for this variant. It is neither a modeling mask nor a decal for a kit, but merchandise. The white variant makes sense where black would be lost: on the dark paint of a car, on a black cabinet, on a dark laptop cover or on glass against a dark background. The same design is made in black too, for light areas.
The Bf 109 G-6 was a single-seat fighter with a liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine and one of the most numerously built versions of the type. Rearming the fuselage weapons to a larger caliber called for pronounced breech covers on the cowling. The version with the suffix AS received the Daimler-Benz DB 605AS engine with a larger supercharger taken over from a more powerful engine series, which improved performance at great heights; on it the cowling was reworked into a smoother shape. In terms of silhouette it is an easily recognizable form.
For enthusiasts for aviation history who want a small something on the theme, and for those looking for an extra to go with a kit.
It is merchandise, not a modeling set.
