OAK SUMMER LEAVES 28MM / 1:72 (7GR BAG)

AK interactive oak summer leaves 28 mm and 1:72

A scenic material for building dioramas, display bases and gaming bases. It is not a kit or a paint but ready-made loose leaves, used to fill out the crowns of trees and bushes, climbing greenery on walls or the green litter of undergrowth. The shape of the leaf matches oak and the shade is summer, that is, fully grown greenery. It is a seven-gram bag and the manufacturer intends it for 28 mm figures and for 1:72 scale. Take care when choosing: the manufacturer also lists the same oak leaves in a version for the larger scales; this is the small one.

Use

• Apply only onto finished and weathered groundwork; leaves are always the last layer.
• For the crowns of trees, first build a supporting structure from fine foliage and scatter the leaves onto it only afterward.
• Put the glue on the base, scatter the leaves from above in small amounts and keep checking the density as you go.
• Thinned PVA glue dropped from a pipette over the finished layer will fix the material without the leaves settling flat.
• Summer greenery looks more faithful when you break it up slightly with a darker shade in the shadows of the crown.
• Tap the excess off once it has dried; the remainder can be returned to the bag.

Who the material is for

For builders of small dioramas, for wargamers finishing 28 mm figure bases, and for modelers who want a summer scene without making leaves one at a time. Working with it calls for no special tools; tweezers, a pipette and patience are enough.

A fine loose material. Do not inhale it, keep it out of the reach of small children and ventilate while fixing it with glue.
