Bandai Option Body Parts Type G01 (Color A) is a set of accessory torso and limb parts for Japanese snap-fit character kits. The parts are pre-colored in the plastic and snap together without glue.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory set of parts from the Japanese manufacturer Bandai, not a kit in its own right. It serves to vary or complete a character kit you already have: the designation Type G01 distinguishes the shape of the parts and the suffix Color A the color variant the set is supplied in. It is precisely by those two details that the sets are told apart, so watch both when choosing.
Bandai uses what is called snap-fit construction: the parts are already colored in the plastic and join by simply snapping together, so you need neither glue them nor paint them. Separate them from the sprue with nippers a little away from the part, and only then trim the rest of the gate with a sharp knife and sand it with fine abrasive paper or a file. That way you avoid a torn white spot on the edge.
When you want to go further. Pre-colored parts are no obstacle to a modeler who enjoys painting. All you have to do is degrease the surface, spray it with a primer and paint it in the usual way with an airbrush or a brush. Even a final varnish on its own will move the result forward: a matte one unifies the sheen of different sprues, a gloss one prepares a base for decals. Wiping thin paint or a liner into the panel lines will bring out the division of the parts, which with pre-colored plastics is otherwise a little flat.
We recommend checking which range of kits you want to use the set with before you buy; the name does not make that unambiguous.
