Paint Forge Oval Stencils L is a universal stencil with oval shapes in the larger L format. It serves for spraying regular ovals that cannot be done freehand or with tape.

A geometric stencil from Paint Forge with oval shapes, offered in the larger size L. Together with the circle, the oval belongs to the shapes in which the eye picks up even a slight irregularity at once. Cutting one precisely out of masking tape is long minutes of work, and the second time it comes out differently anyway. A stencil gives the same shape every time.
An oval stencil is used in two ways that have little in common with each other. Either you spray paint into the cutout, and a solid oval then appears — a cover, a hatch, a roundel, a backing under an insignia. Or on the contrary you use the cutout as a mask and cover an area with it that you want to leave in the original color. The second variant suits round windows, vision ports and anywhere a shape is meant to be left out of a scheme.
The stencil manages the most work in a pair with another geometric motif. An oval in combination with lines puts a badge or an emblem together, an oval over a hexagon mesh creates the impression of a seated panel. Here it pays to work in layers: first the base coat, then the larger shape, finally the detail. Between layers always let the paint cure properly, otherwise you will damage what you already have finished while laying the next stencil on.
