Paneliner for black camouflage from AK Interactive is an enamel (solvent-based) wash for panel lines, tuned specially for black and very dark camouflage. Volume 35 ml. It is modeling chemistry, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The paneliner is a liquid enamel (solvent-based) product with an adjusted flow that wicks into engraved lines by capillary action and picks out panels, hatches and surface detail. The package is 35 ml. This particular shade is intended for models finished in black or very dark night camouflage.
Why a special shade for black? An ordinary paneliner is dark brown or black - and on a black surface it would simply disappear. The lines would not be visible and the whole job would come to nothing. That is why this shade is lighter and contrasting against a black base compared with ordinary panelines, so that the engraving stays legible even on a black aircraft. That is its main point - if you are building a model in black or nearly black camouflage, an ordinary dark wash will not help you.
For modelers of aircraft in black and very dark schemes - night fighters, night bombers, modern aircraft with a dark finish - and for anyone who needs to pick engraving out on a dark base, whether on vehicles, science fiction subjects or mechs. Suitable for beginners as well: the product is ready to use and a mistake can be washed off with thinner.
Safety: a solvent-based (enamel) product and a flammable liquid. Keep out of the reach of children and away from open flame and sources of sparks. Work in a well-ventilated space, do not inhale the vapors, and protect your airways, your skin (gloves) and your eyes. Close the bottle well after use.
