LifeColor PG108 Oxidation State Powder Pigment

A loose weathering pigment from the Powder Pigments range by the Italian maker LifeColor. The fine dry powder serves to imitate oxidation and weathered metal surfaces; it is not a covering paint. The Oxidation State shade gives a model the cast of oxidized, dully weathered metal and complements rust and dust effects. The pigment can be applied dry or bound with a medium.

Use

• Lay it on dry with a soft brush on metal areas and exposed edges.
• For permanent hold, fix it with a fixative or mix it with water, thinner or a medium.
• Combine it with rust and dust shades for a complex patina.
• It holds best on a matte base; build the intensity up gradually.
