Plastruct I section (I-beam)

A precisely extruded plastic section with an I-shaped profile. Dimensions: height 4.8 mm, flange width 2.4 mm, thickness 1.3 mm, rod length 600 mm. The package contains one piece. The surface is smooth and ready for further work without preparation.

Use

  • Building load-bearing structures, frames and bridge elements on models and dioramas.
  • Modifying and extending kits with your own structural parts.
  • It is cut, drilled, sanded and glued into larger assemblies.
  • It finds a use in railway, architectural and industrial mock-ups.

Who it is for

For modelers and scratch-builders who need a longer I section with a thicker wall for stronger structures. Also suitable for builders of mock-ups and dioramas.

This is material for building, not a finished model. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
