PS52 Champagne Gold is a delicate golden shade from the PS spray range of the Japanese brand Tamiya. The range is intended for the polycarbonate bodies of RC models, on which the paint is applied from the inner side and the surface of the body protects it from rubbing. The package holds 100 ml.
The shade belongs to the Anodized Aluminum group, that is among the translucent imitations of anodized metal. Champagne gold is the most delicate of that group, close to a light metal and easily overdone. On this shade the difference between an elegant metallic cast and a dull, dirty-looking surface comes down above all to the thickness of the coat and the evenness of the spray.
The spray will be appreciated by RC modelers looking for a more restrained metallic look than the saturated effect colors give, or wanting golden accents and two-tone combinations. The PS range is not used on polystyrene plastic kits.
The aerosol is flammable and under pressure. Spray only in a well-ventilated space or outdoors, with respiratory protection, away from open flame and sources of sparks. Protect the can from heat and do not puncture it.
