Both designate a closable opening in a superstructure or in a deck, only in a different place on the ship: a door is walked through in a vertical wall, a hatch is climbed down through the deck into the space below. Which of the two parts you have in your hand can be told from the shape of the frame and from where you place it on your own model according to the plan.
The part measures 27 x 12 mm and there are three pieces in the package. Before you seat the part, lay it dry in place and check on the plan of the model whether the size of 27 x 12 mm matches the opening that should be in the deck or in the wall of the superstructure. Level the mating surface beforehand and free it of dust and grease, otherwise the joint will not hold. Choose the glue according to the actual material of the part and apply it only in a thin layer around the perimeter, so that no excess runs onto the wood, where a mark would be left. Degrease the part again before painting and apply the paint in thin coats.
