RAL 8000 GELBBRAUN – AFV

RAL 8000 Gelbbraun - AFV (acrylic 17 ml)

A water-thinnable acrylic paint from the range intended for models of military vehicles. The shade corresponds to the yellow-brown RAL 8000 with a flat, period-faithful finish. The bottle holds 17 ml and the paint can be applied with a brush and with an airbrush.

Which finish it suits

Yellow-brown RAL 8000 is one of the early German camouflage shades of the Second World War and is also associated with vehicles used in tropical and semi-desert conditions. It suits both a base surface and one of the tones of a multi-color camouflage scheme.

Use

• It is thinned exclusively with water, or with the acrylic thinner of the same range.
• For an airbrush, thin the paint to the consistency of milk and spray in thin coats.
• For a brush, apply it onto a cured surface, ideally over an acrylic primer.
• The flat finish is a good base for subsequent washes, filters and pigments.
• Paints of the same acrylic range can be mixed and toned with one another.

Who it is for

For builders of tank and armor models who want safe work with paint without aggressive solvents.

Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. Work in a ventilated room and protect your airways when spraying.
