RLM 63 Hellgrau

Mr.Paint RLM 63 Hellgrau (30 ml)

A light gray aviation shade (Hellgrau) from the Mr.Paint modeling line. It is a lacquer-based paint that comes pre-thinned from the factory and ready to spray straight from the bottle. Once dry, it forms a very thin, smooth, and even film with a silky matte (satin) finish. The manufacturer classes the shade among the standard colors of the Luftwaffe from the Second World War. The paint is designed exclusively for airbrush, not suitable for brush.

Use

• Spray with an airbrush in several thin coats; with a nozzle of about 0.3 mm, usually without further thinning
• Recommended low pressure of roughly 10 to 25 PSI, ideally over a suitable primer
• For fine techniques, it can be thinned further with lacquer thinner from the same line
• Apply to a clean, degreased surface; clean the airbrush with lacquer thinner

For modelers of Second World War aircraft who spray with an airbrush and want a fine, thin finish. Given its lacquer base, it suits more experienced users better.
