About product

AK Interactive Sand Yellow 17 ml

Sand Yellow is an acrylic paint from the 3rd Generation Acrylics range in a sand yellow tone. It is a water-thinnable acrylic in a 17 ml bottle with a consistently matte finish. The shade lies between yellow and sand and is a typical base for desert and semi-desert finishes on vehicles.

Use

  • It is thinned with water or acrylic thinner, not with lacquer thinner.
  • For an opaque coat with a brush, apply two thinner coats rather than one heavy one.
  • For an airbrush, thin it to a milky consistency and spray in several passes.
  • It serves as a base desert tone and as a surface for highlighting and shading.

Who it is for

For modelers of desert vehicles, builders of dioramas and everyone looking for an odorless matte acrylic thinnable with water.

Keep out of the reach of children. Shake the bottle before use. Work in a ventilated room.
