The elements have real depth, so the dials, panels and upholstery do not have to be laboriously brushed in. The extent of the set and the kit it is matched to are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The elements of the SPACE range are not self-adhesive. With a damp sponge and a drop of detergent, dampen only the backing paper under the piece; do not immerse the whole sheet in water. Do not use a decal softener, as it damages the printed resin and dissolves the fine detail. First paint the area under the element and let the paint cure thoroughly, because nothing holds on fresh paint. Lift the released element with tweezers, lay it on a dry, degreased surface and fix it with PVA glue; the manufacturer does not recommend super glue. Work one piece at a time and keep checking whether the part beds down in place.
The Sea King is the British license-built form of the American Sikorsky S-61. The HAS.5 designation belongs to a later anti-submarine version, which differs from the earlier machines above all in the larger dorsal fairing of its search radar. The cabin of such a machine was not an empty cargo hold but an operators' station with racks of equipment, so there is plenty to show in it on a model.
