Seafoam Green is a light green shade with a cast toward gray-blue, carried in the American standard Federal Standard under the number 24533. A number from a standard is practical: by it the shade can be looked up, compared with the paints of other manufacturers and topped up even a year later, when nobody remembers the name on its own.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use so that the settled pigment mixes in. Thin the paint with the thinner intended for this range and in the ratio given by the instructions of the manufacturer on the packaging; do not use water or thinners from other ranges until you have verified in those instructions that they are suitable. Try the shade on a piece of plastic, because it reads differently in the bottle and on the model.
Apply several thin coats and let the paint flash off in between. Light green tones cover less well, so it pays to spray a light base; over a dark substrate the shade would darken and the difference would show only after drying. Flush the remaining paint out of the airbrush at once, dried light pigment is difficult to remove from the nozzle. Before decals, coat the area with a gloss clear coat and once finished even out the gloss as needed.
The paint will be appreciated by modelers who keep to standardized shades and want a tone that can be looked up by number, whether they build aircraft, vehicles or ships. Close the bottle carefully after work and store it in the cool, out of the reach of children. Thinner, brushes and other accessories are not included, unless stated otherwise.
