Spruce, short trunk 280-320 mm is a handmade pin-in model tree from the Czech manufacturer Model Scene for layouts and dioramas.

A handmade model spruce 280 to 320 mm tall with a short trunk, that is with the crown beginning low above the ground, as is typical of free-growing conifers. The tree is fitted with a wire pin for pinning into a substrate, so it is easily planted into a layout or a diorama. Thanks to its greater height it reads as a mature solitary tree. Every piece is an original and differs in detail. The manufacturer is the Czech brand Model Scene.
The Norway spruce is the commonest conifer of Central Europe. Free-growing trees keep dense branching almost down to the ground, unlike forest spruces with a crown only in the upper part of the trunk. The short trunk of this model corresponds to a tree grown as a solitary specimen.
This is a finished scenery accessory ready to be planted; glue is not included in the package.
