Stainless steel T-ruler — size S

A modeling straight edge of stainless steel from the brand Master Tools. The T shape lets you brace the head of the ruler against the edge of a part or a sheet and get a reliable perpendicular at once, with no measuring out and no drawing of guide lines. The smaller size S is intended for ordinary modeling parts and for comfortable work on a cutting mat.

Use

• Guiding straight cuts with a hobby knife on plastic sheet and parts.
• Scribing panel lines square to the edge of a part, as the T head holds a constant angle.
• A quick check of a right angle when gluing walls, bulkheads or decks.
• The steel edge resists a slipping blade far better than plastic rules.

Who it is for

A practical help for every modeling workshop, whether building plastic models, reworking parts or doing small construction from plastic profiles and sheet. It will be appreciated above all by modelers who cut their own parts or rescribe panel lines and need every cut to be right the first time. A larger size L is also made for longer cuts.

When cutting along the ruler, guide the blade with light pressure and rather in several strokes; keep your fingers out of the path of the knife.
