A three-dimensional puzzle of the most famous film time machine from the brand Revell. It is not a classic plastic kit: the parts already have their finished shape and surface and join by simply snapping together, so you assemble the model quickly and without tools. The finished car is among the gifts that please non-modelers too, as almost everyone recognizes the film subject at a glance.
The time machine from the 1985 film Back to the Future came about as a conversion of the DeLorean DMC-12 sports car. That car was built at the turn of the 1970s and 1980s and became famous for a body of stainless steel panels left in a raw metal finish and for doors that opened upward. The film makers added superstructures, cabling and conspicuous equipment at the rear, which turned an otherwise commercially unsuccessful car into one of the best known props in film history.
Work on a flat surface and proceed from the body to the chassis and the accessories. Fit the small superstructures at the rear and on the sides last, so that they do not get in your way while handling the larger parts. Push the joints in square and press them home until they engage. When carrying the model, support it from below by the chassis, not by the open doors.
The puzzle is supplied unassembled. The parts fit together by snapping, so you need no tools or other modeling supplies for the build.
