A sanding outfit for the modeling bench, built on the proven principle of a flexible tape tensioned in a frame. The box holds five aluminum frames and thirty spare sanding tapes, that is, six each of grits 150, 280, 320, 400 and 600. A stand for the frames and a case for storage are included, so all the grits stay within reach and take up roughly fifteen by fifteen centimeters of space. The tapes have a strong polyester backing, which makes them both flexible and durable.
For modelers who sand often and want the individual grits sorted clearly instead of a pile of torn abrasive paper. A tape tensioned in a frame adapts to the shape of the part, so the outfit serves well on aircraft and car models, where most of the surfaces are curved. The set also deals with order on the bench: instead of hunting for the right grit among scraps you reach straight for the frame that is ready, which pays off above all when finishing a larger model, where the same step is repeated on dozens of joints. The sanding tapes are a consumable and are bought separately.
Sanding dry produces dust: ventilate and protect your airways. Tension the tape in the frame according to the instructions and do not overload it.
