True Metal Brass is a metallic wax paste from AK interactive. Unlike spray paints, it is applied with a finger, a soft cloth, a cotton swab or a brush in a thin coat and, once it flashes off, is buffed to a rich metallic shine. It is neither an airbrush paint nor a liquid paint for thinning. The Brass shade is a warm, yellowish brass suited to fittings, hardware, cartridge cases and decorative details. The paste comes in a tube and is intended for smaller metal surfaces with a polished look.
For modelers who want polished brass without an airbrush — a paste applied by hand and buffed to a shine.
A wax/solvent-based product — work in a well-ventilated area; gloves are recommended when applying with a finger, as it stains skin. Keep out of reach of children.
