Tamiya TS-22 Light Green — a 100 ml spray

This is a synthetic lacquer in a spray can, not a water-thinnable acrylic. The TS range is a general-purpose one and suits painting large areas of models, car bodies and accessories. The Light Green shade is a light green. The lacquer dries quickly to a smooth finish and the 100 ml can will cover roughly two to three car bodies in 1:24 scale or the equivalent area of other models.

Use

• Shake the can thoroughly before spraying, until the mixing ball moves freely.
• Spray from a distance of 25 to 30 cm in thin coats; the lacquer is aggressive to bare plastic.
• For a rich and even rendering of the shade, first lay down a light primer.
• Once dry, details can be finished with acrylic or enamel, which will not attack the lacquer.
• Paint at room temperature and low humidity, as otherwise the surface will go matte.

For modelers who want to lay a light green shade evenly over larger areas without an airbrush — on car bodies, covers and other parts.

It contains flammable solvents. Use it only in a well-ventilated space, away from open flame, and protect your airways. It is thinned with lacquer thinner, not with water.
