TS-92 Metallic Orange Spray

Tamiya TS-92 Metallic Orange (lacquer spray, 100 ml)

TS-92 is a lacquer spray from the popular Tamiya TS range. It is a synthetic lacquer in an aerosol that dries quickly to a smooth, hard surface. The metallic orange shade contains metal particles, so the surface has a fine sheen. One 100 ml can covers roughly two to three car bodies in 1:24 scale.

Use

• it is sprayed straight from the can, with no need to thin it
• shake the can thoroughly before use and while spraying — the metallic pigment settles at the bottom
• apply it in thin coats from a sufficient distance, ideally over a smooth surface
• apply metallics last, as they are harder to overspray and to mask

Who it is for

For modelers building cars, motorcycles and other vehicles who want a rich metallic orange lacquer without an airbrush. Tamiya lacquer sprays do not attack acrylic or enamel paints, so details can be painted in later.

A flammable aerosol under pressure — use it outdoors or with strong ventilation, away from sources of fire, and keep it away from children. Not suitable for clear polycarbonate (Lexan) RC bodies.
