The green ground of the Italian camouflage sheeting has a number of its own in the Lifecolor uniform line: the shade Regio Esercito Verde Telo Mimetico is a water-based acrylic paint for the figures, tarpaulins and textile kit of the Italian army.

The green element of the Italian camouflage sheeting, that is of the telo mimetico pattern, which appears on shelter quarters, capes and the camouflage clothing of the Italian army. It is a water-based acrylic paint from the uniform line of the Italian maker Lifecolor, put together so that the shades of one fabric go with each other without mixing.
Telo mimetico is a pattern made up of several earthy tones that run into one another and have no sharp edges. The green in it works as the calm area into which the khaki and brown blotches are only then laid. On a small area of fabric it therefore pays to start with it and to let it come forward where a figure or a tarpaulin is meant to look brightened.
Working on folds: lay the green down in a thin continuous coat, let it dry well and only then deal with the modeling. Darken the depths of the folds with a glaze transition and leave the ridges in the clean tone instead; the eye perceives them as the place the light falls on.
For modelers who build Italian vehicles and figures of the Second World War, for collectors of Mediterranean dioramas and for everyone who wants the shades of one fabric matched in advance.
Keep out of the reach of children, ventilate while working and close the bottle carefully after use.
