The cool bluish reflection of metal on a weapon is handled by the acrylic paint Lifecolor Gun Blue Reflection, which is added to the basic metal tone as an accentuation of the edges.
Responsibility details are not available.
Neither the barrel nor the bolt of a weapon is uniformly gray in reality. Smoothed steel reflects its surroundings, and depending on the angle of view color tones enter it that the eye perceives as a metallic shine. The acrylic shade Lifecolor Gun Blue Reflection stands for the cool, bluish part of those reflections and is used as a complement to the basic metal color, not in place of it.
Where the reflection appears
The measure decides. A reflection belongs on a small area and exactly where light would really fall: a single thin line along an edge will do more than an overdone area. A dry brush with a minimum of paint works well, and with larger scales a thin glaze drawn over the metal base. On figures and small armament the reflection is often limited to a single touch with the tip of a brush.
The paint will be appreciated by modelers of figures and by collectors who finish off small armament, and equally by builders of vehicles with exposed metal parts. Two sister colors with a warm and a neutral reflection complement it in the brand's range, so a metal surface can be graded according to what it is meant to reflect.
Keep out of the reach of children, ensure ventilation while working and close the bottle carefully after use.
