Responsibility details are not available.
A single bottle of acrylic modeling paint from the palette of the Italian manufacturer Lifecolor. The name translates as dark mud of Northern Europe and the shade belongs to a group of tones that the manufacturer distinguishes by environment within the same palette. It is therefore a dark, more coolly pitched earth tone, not a general brown.
Mud has a different color in every landscape, because it follows from the soil beneath it. North European soil is darker and cooler than parched southern earth, and on a model that difference is clearly noticeable, especially when several vehicles stand side by side. The choice of the right earth tone thus quietly states where the scene takes place, before the viewer even notices it. Dark mud typically stays low: on the chassis, on the lower parts of the body and in places where water splashes up, while the upper surfaces stay cleaner. It is exactly that difference between a muddy underside and a cleaner upper part that makes a model believable.
The paint will be appreciated by machinery modelers and by diorama builders who work with earth effects and want a tone of their own for every environment instead of a single universal brown.
Keep out of the reach of children. Work in a well-ventilated area and follow the instructions on the packaging.
