About product

Abteilung 502 Urban Industry Dirt

Urban Industry Dirt is a fine weathering pigment (a loose powder) from Abteilung 502. The dark shade imitates the greasy grime and deposits typical of urban and industrial settings. It is not an opaque paint but a pigment that is applied to a finished, painted model.

Use

  • Greasy grime and soot around stations, factories and garages
  • Dirty vehicle running gear and the lower parts of machinery
  • Dark deposits in the seams and corners of buildings in a diorama
  • Applied dry with a soft brush and sealed with a pigment fixer or mineral spirits

Who it is for

For modelers and diorama builders working on urban and industrial themes, but also for general dark soiling of vehicles and railroad models.

The pigment is a fine powder: do not inhale it and work in a well-ventilated space. Keep out of the reach of children.
