Working street lighting from the Just Plug system by the manufacturer Woodland Scenics, in the form of lamps on wooden poles in HO scale. It is not a kit and not a decoration: the lights have a built-in LED and a lead terminated with a plug, so once installed into the scenery they really light up. A wooden pole shifts a scene toward the countryside, the outskirts and older buildings: toward field roads, branch lines, station warehouses or the streets of a small town.
Think the layout through first: street lamps look natural by sidewalks, intersections, entrances and doorways, not in a regular grid across the whole area. Drill a hole in the base matching the diameter of the lead and set the pole upright. Run the leads under the board and mark them while you still know which belongs where. Carry out the installation before you apply grass and scenic materials to the area, as pulling a lead through finished scenery tends to be a source of damage. Deal with the connection and the power supply according to the instructions for the hub of the system; neither that nor the power supply is included in this package, unless stated otherwise.
