WWI French Green 2 is an AK interactive acrylic modeling paint from the 3rd Generation line, the second green tone of French camouflage of equipment of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second of the green camouflage tones of the French palette in the 3rd Generation acrylic line. The binder is water-thinnable, so the paint belongs among acrylics and has nothing in common with enamels or lacquers. In a multicolor scheme it was applied beside the first green shade and beside the brown and ocher fields. Check the volume of the bottle on the label of the package.
Acrylic paint holds best on a clean and uniform base. Before painting, therefore, wash the finished model free of the residues of grease from hands and of fingerprints, and with resin parts also of the mold release agent, and let it dry thoroughly. A spray of base paint, that is of primer, levels the differences between plastic, photo-etch and resin into one tone, brings out the shortcomings of the sanding and markedly improves the adhesion of the following coat. A light primer moreover raises the richness of the green and a dark one subdues it, which can be used as the first level of color modulation even before the masking itself.
It suits modelers who build period equipment and want a palette put together from one line, and also those who are simply looking for a reliable modeling green with an acrylic binder and easy cleaning of the tools.
An acrylic paint. Spray with ventilation and respiratory protection; keep it closed out of the reach of children and protect it from frost.
