About product

WWI German Grey-Green Primer – AIR

An acrylic paint from the AIR range (3rd Generation) by AK Interactive in a 17 ml bottle. It is water-thinnable, self-leveling and ready for an airbrush, but a brush will manage it too. The shade matches the gray-green undercoat tone used on the structure and the surfaces of German aircraft of the First World War.

Use

  • Thinned with water or with AK acrylic thinner; airbrush and brush alike
  • Shake the bottle well before use
  • Suitable as an undercoat or base shade for German aircraft of 1914-1918
  • Applied in thin coats; for the best adhesion we recommend a primer

Who it is for

For modelers of First World War aircraft who want an accurate gray-green base and work with a non-toxic acrylic.

The paint is water-thinnable, non-toxic and non-flammable. It is not thinned with lacquer or cellulose thinner. Ventilate and protect your airways when spraying.

FAQ

Water or AK acrylic thinner. It is not a lacquer, so do not thin it with lacquer or cellulose thinner.

It is a color shade from the AIR range representing the gray-green undercoat tone; for maximum adhesion on smooth plastics we recommend using a real primer as well.

The bottle holds 17 ml.
