P.R.U. Pink is a very pale pink modeling lacquer from the manufacturer Mr.Paint reproducing the pale pink camouflage color of British reconnaissance Spitfires of the Second World War. It is supplied ready for spraying with an airbrush.
Responsibility details are not available.
A very pale pink, tuned almost to white, from the lacquer range of Mr.Paint. It reproduces the camouflage shade in which British reconnaissance units painted some Spitfires for photographic reconnaissance at low altitudes. Pale pink proved itself at dawn and dusk and under low cloud, when a machine blended better with the haze and the light of the sky. The real shade was very light, far less saturated than it is sometimes depicted. The paint is a solvent-based lacquer supplied ready for spraying, with a fine pigment and fast drying to a smooth flat surface.
For modelers of British reconnaissance aircraft of the Second World War who work with an airbrush and with lacquer paints. Mr.Paint lacquers are not primarily intended for the brush.
A lacquer-based paint: flammable. Spray in a well ventilated space and with respiratory protection (a respirator), out of the reach of children and away from an open flame.
