Tamiya Royal Blue X-3 is a gloss acrylic modeling paint in a 10 ml package: a saturated royal blue for finishes, accessories and mixing your own shades. It is not a kit but a paint.
Responsibility details are not available.
A Tamiya acrylic modeling paint from the Acrylic Mini range in a small bottle of 10 ml. At Tamiya the letter X means a gloss finish (flat shades carry the designation XF), so X-3 dries to a smooth gloss with no need for a further clear coat. The shade is a saturated royal blue, a clean, darker, clearly saturated blue with no gray cast. The paint is a water thinnable acrylic dispersion, covers well, flows smoothly and mixes easily with the other Tamiya shades. This is a modeling paint, not a kit: nothing is built from it, it serves to paint a model.
Thin the paint with Tamiya X-20A acrylic thinner. It can be applied with a brush and with an airbrush: for spraying, thin it to the consistency of milk and spray thin covering coats so that the gloss is not lost. Always let a coat dry properly before applying the next.
A gloss surface is at the same time the ideal base under decals, because over gloss a decal settles with no air bubbles and does not silver. That is exactly why the X range is often used as the final coat under markings.
For modelers of cars, motorcycles and civilian vehicles, for figure collectors and for anyone who needs a clean saturated blue. The 10 ml package is an advantage exactly when you need a given shade only for a detail or on a single occasion: half-empty bottles of paint you will never use again then do not dry out in a drawer.
Use the paint in a well ventilated space. Protect your airways (a respirator) when spraying with an airbrush. Keep out of the reach of children.
